The Complete Fulfillment of Causes and Conditions on the Path of Insight Leads to Enlightenment

The aspiration for enlightenment is a form of wishing, a wholesome wish. Without such aspiration, there would be no genuine action. Aspiration is the prerequisite; action is the supporting condition. Through various practical actions, one fulfills the causes and conditions for enlightenment, gathering all necessary prerequisites. Only then can the causes and conditions ripen at the right time, leading naturally to the realization of the truth. As long as the aspiration arises spontaneously, free from wishful thinking or opportunistic intentions, and emerges after sufficient cultivation, it is legitimate and worthy of encouragement.
